Christoph Bauer was awarded his PhD in rehabilitation medicine in 2018 from Tampere University, Finland, and his adjunct professorship for physiotherapy from University of Jyväskylä, Finland, in 2021. His interests centre on the possibilities of continued care across the patients pathway, telerehabilitation, and rehabilitation technologies to improve remote and home care. Since 2023, he leads the research group Therapy Sciences at Lake Lucerne Institute.
